Confession, a story driven game
This game was made on the Games4Diversity jam of 2016, with the theme "Religion" in mind. The game is basically a story game where you are a priest of a self-named religion. People come to your confession booth with problems and you get to pick what advice you give, which affects your community as a whole. We originally aimed to have some kind of stat system to keep track of- and eventually show you how well your community sticked together (or not). However, this turned out to become way too much work, which is why we opted not to.
This was the first time I've worked in python, since we used the engine "renpy" which makes it easy to build a story driven game. It turned out to be a lot of work to knit everything together and make custom everythings though.
Responsibilities:
- Knitting the story together
- Creating custom buttons
